PERI Overview
From PERI
Summary
The Performance Engineering Research Institute (PERI) is focused on delivering petascale performance to complex scientific applications running on Leadership Class computing systems. This task is growing ever more challenging due to enormous scale, increasing architectural complexity, and increasing application complexity. To address these challenges PERI is pursuing a research plan that unifies performance modeling and prediction, automatic performance optimization, and performance engineering of high profile applications. | ||
PERI is funded by the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Science, as part of its second Scientific Discovery through Advanced Computing (SciDAC-2) research program. |
